Dear friends,
Instantly I was taken aback that God would speak to me. That was many years ago now but His voice is still my constant companion. Dear friends, I am called by God to invite you all to pray with me at 5pm today for ‘The peace of The City of Leeds’ it has long been my commission from God and now is the time. The City is in need of Revival in every way and only God can do this. Has anyone in all of history ever done this before? Only under the direct calling of God himself
So please will you do this with me today and share this message now with as many people as you can.
May God richly bless us all and deal kindly with His people.
Safe Haven in Paradise
This event happened two weeks ago for us and we are starting to see the first green shoots coming through
Hi there,
Its close to our 10th anniversary. For ten years I have worked for Jesus Christ, after being called away from everything I previously knew. I have so many testimonies from my time in Leeds, a place I’d only ever related to as a child, as the. ‘arch enemy’ of my favourite team, Man. Utd! How times have changed for me, now I help to support families, in Leeds, with furniture and food parcels.
In March, just as the true extent of the pandemic began to sink in, we were convicted by God to furlough our staff. That left myself and the other manager Tony, who was similarly called by God, with the need to make a decision of how to proceed. There was enough work for us both to do for the time being inside the locked building. We had a certain amount of food we could give out and lots of paperwork to catch up on. God had other ideas, however. A lady rang with an offer of a bag of food which she duly delivered to us. God then said ‘offer this back to me for a huge blessing’. We prayed for a ‘five loaves and two fishes’ blessing, led by The Holy Spirit. By the end of the day we could barely believe the extent of the blessing, which has continued to the present day. God has plans over and above ours and I would like to encourage anyone who reads this, God will cut a path through this pandemic. Nothing will happen that He doesn’t know about beforehand. He is never caught off guard. Give your requests to Him and He will answer them, HIS WAY!
Praise Jesus for he saved me money on used furniture. I was in a bind, I had family coming over to eat and I had no table to break bread at. So I prayed to the Lord, and he guided to me to use google to find these fine folks over at safe haven.
Praise God he always knows the right thing to do and the right place to be. I run a local debt centre and we help families to break free from debt. This Christmas the amazing people at Safe Haven were able to provide some fantastic hampers for them. They were so thrilled when I delivered them and so grateful. Prayers are answered and it is truly amazing. Thanks to all at Safe Haven.
